Bendy Myth: Progress is linear!

There will be days where one skill seems easy, and the next day it seems off. For example, I have some days where my handstands are solid AF, but other days feel wobbly due to other circumstances (overtraining, tired, not feeling well, etc.)

It's okay, and dare I say, NORMAL to have those days. The important part is that we find a consistent rhythm to our training and show up to train when we intend to.

Additionally, progress doesn't always look like progress! It's important to note how much ease, effort, and control you have in specific skills. That is another way to measure progress.

My warm-up chin stand/pretzel now was as good as my end-of-training chin stand a year ago. However, I can achieve the same level of bendiness with less effort, it's pretty comfortable to be in a chin stand, and I don't have to warm up as much because my body is primed to be contorted like this. These are things only I know about my body and not clear to the naked eye. Can you relate to this bendy myth? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic :)
